California Patient Relations Association (CaPRA)The mission of the California Patient Relations Association is to provide information and education for professional development. As an affiliate chapter of the Society for Healthcare Consumer Advocacy, CaPRA supports SHCA’s goal to lead the advancement of healthcare consumer advocacy by supporting the role of professionals who represent and advocate for consumers across the healthcare continuum.

Just a reminder from your Directors-at-Large that CaPRA is continuing to promote a drive for new members and we need your help. We have many hospitals (and other facilities) in California who are not yet members of CaPRA. Share CaPRA with fellow Patient Relations/Customer Service Representatives in your area. You will be hearing from the Geo-Rep in charge of your region about events to educate and promote new members. We would appreciate you attending these events and encouraging non-member facilities to join. Call Frances Rojas, Director-at-Large/South about any potential new members and she will make the contact and ensure that they receive information about CaPRA.
