Mission
The society promotes the advancement of health care consumer advocacy by providing leadership, education and support to our membership and by serving as a resource to professionals and consumers across the healthcare continuum.
Objectives
- To promote continuing education in order to improve healthcare services.
- To enhance the healthcare consumer advocate's skill as liaison between the consumer and healthcare providers.
- To exchange information, ideas and experiences.
- To increase community awareness regarding patient rights and consumer advocacy in healthcare.
