Psychosocial Aspects of Family Members In A Crisis Situation - Presenter

Nancy Brooks, RN, MHSA  has diverse experience with subject matter having been an Certified Emergency Nurse for a number of years as well as a patient advocate specializing in crisis management. 

Currently, Nancy is a Director of Organization and involved in the cultural transformation of an organization with emphasis on transparency.  Recognized in her organization for development of services to enhance the patient and family experinece (24/7 Spiritual Services Department, Ethics Committee, Patient and Guest Services Department, Grievance Process etc.)

To enhance the development of people, Nancy has developed an impressive Leadership Academy. She is certified to administer a variety of tools such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Assessment, Corporate 360 assessments. Nancy is honored to have had the opportunity to be coached by Dr. Stephen Covey's Master Coach. 

In her community, Nancy is known for community service and leadership.  She was recently recognized by her community as the Woman of Excellence and Leadership Timely Honored in the category of Business and Professions. 

Nancy has been a member of SHCA for several years and achieved APEx Fellow status through SHCA. She is proud to have established a state nework of patient advocates.
