Patient Advocates often work primarily on putting out fires, while simultaneously wishing our organizations were more patient-centered.  We hope others will see the need for change, and will implement service improvements.  In this webinar we will discuss how to go beyond wishing and hoping, and become a change agent in our organizations.  We will discuss leadership and the role of the internal consultant, and how patient advocates can apply these concepts to drive change.

Participants will be able to

  • List five beliefs that are stepping stones to seeing oneself as a leader
  • Describe three types of information that create opportunities for leadership
  • Select one or more ways to establish oneself as a leader
  • Describe the role of an internal consultant

SHCA member rate: $169

Non-Member rate: $269
