AHA Grassroots Training Program

The grassroots training program, developed by the American Hospital Association with the assistance of Schrayer and Associates, is a systematic tutorial on grassroots involvement in the political process.  For many would-be advocates, the first steps beyond the crowd can be a bit intimidating.  This training program answers the call to ease these fears and gives folks the confidence they need to reach out to elected officials and tell their stories. 

This workshop is conducted by AHA consultants and takes about an hour.  This program is meant for people who have a real interest in getting involved in advocacy, some belonging to an advocacy committee, or other proactive group.  In addition, the AHA has developed a grassroots advocacy manual which serves as the reference guide for the workshop and is available to our members as an invaluable resource.
