SHCA Webinars - Continuing Education Contact Hours (CEUs)
Applications for contact hours will be submitted on most SHCA webinars. If contact hours are pursued you will find the following statement(s) on the applicable webinar page and registration form stating:
- An application for approval of nursing contact hours has been submitted to the Illinois Nurses Association Approver Unit, and/or
- An application for approval of continuing education contact hours has been submitted to the National Association of Social Workers.
Once the continuing education application(s) is approved, there will be an approval statement listed on the applicable webinar page.
If you are interested in receiving contact hours, you must check the appropriate box on the webinar registration form. In order to qualify for Nursing or Social Work contact hours, you must participate in the live webinar session and complete the evaluation form after the broadcast. You are not eligible for contact hours if you purchase the audio package.
An evaluation will then be sent to you following the webinar which must be completed within 3 business days and faxed in to SHCA at (312) 422-4577. Upon completion of the evaluation, SHCA will send you the certificate(s) from NASW and/or INA with their respective approval numbers.
