Call for Presentations

Now's the time to throw your hat in the SHCA speaker ring. The Call for Presentations is open and runs through September 10. 

All accepted proposals will receive a complimentary registration to the 40th Anniversary Annual Conference.

Tips and Instructions for Submitting a Proposal

SHCA has identified 9 Domains of Practice as being key skills and knowledge for advanced competency in the role of a patient and consumer advocate. All speakers and sessions are selected by the Conference Planning Committee based on the membership feedback, industry hot topics and relevance to one or more of the 9 Domains of Practice.

The Call for Presentations has all the information you need to submit a proposal for consideration. There are two ways to submit your session information:

  1. Complete the online 2011 Call for Presentations.** (Preferred)
     
  2. Download a PDF version of the 2011 Call for Presentations. (Note: Depending on your version of Adobe and Internet Explorer you may not be able to write in and save this file. If that is the case, please use the online form or contact SHCA at shca@aha.org for assitance.)

**To streamline your online submission process, we recommend you download the PDF form to review and complete information offline, then copy and paste it into the online form.

All proposal participants will be notified via email in October 2010 on the status of their submission.


Submit your session proposal through Friday, September 10, or forward this to someone you would like to see present.
