In keeping with the mission of the Society for Healthcare Consumer Advocacy, to advance the professional development, leadership and value of the healthcare patient representatives, SHCA is pleased to recognize national Patient Advocacy Week.
This week is set aside annually to celebrate, honor and recognize those who, day-in and day-out, aid, support and educate patients across the country. During Patient Advocacy Week, you have the opportunity to publicly thank your staff for the critical role they play in your hospital’s success. Hospitals and healthcare organizations across the country are encouraged to plan events within their own organizations.
