SHCA Forum
SHCA is pleased to offer a new SHCA Forum for all healthcare consumer advocates!

In this new format, it is easier to follow threads, stay logged in, and post new discussion topics. You will need to create a new username and password, but the four step process is very simple. As always, the SHCA staff is here to help you. Just call (312) 422-3700 or email shca@aha.org.
Registering for the Forum
The SHCA Forum is now open to the public. Anyone can read threads on the Forum. However, to post or reply to a thread you must register with the Forum.
Instructions for registering for new SHCA Bulletin Board:

Click on the ‘Register’ button on the top left side on the screen

Read and click the check box to agree to the Forum Rules – click ‘Register’ to continue

Complete the form and choose your username and password. Click 'Complete Registration'
After you register, an email will be sent to the email address you provided. Follow the link in the email to complete the verification process. If you do not receive an email promptly, check your spam filter. Please note: You will not be able to post to the forum until you verify your email address.

Posting on the Forum
Once you have logged in, you are ready to read, reply, start a new thread or search for an existing subject.
To post on the forum: click the topic you want to post in, such as Education. Then click on the Start a new thread button .
To reply to a post: click on the post you want to reply to, such as SHCA Conference. Then click on the Post reply button.
There is new terminology with this forum, so if you are having trouble, please contact the SHCA offices and we will walk you through the process. Below is some of the new terminology.
A Thread is a line of conversation at about a particular subject. You can post a new thread about a particular topic. And someone else will post a reply to it.
